Telemedicine Consent
What you agree to when booking and attending a video session.
Informed Consent for Telepsychiatry
By booking and attending a session with Isabel, you voluntarily acknowledge and agree that:
- Remote healthcare involves real-time interactive video and audio transmission.
- You must be physically located within one of the authorized states —Delaware, Florida, Oregon, South Carolina, or Washington— during the exact time of each consultation.
- In the event of a technical disruption during the video call, your provider will immediately reach out to your registered phone number.
- You explicitly consent to be contacted regarding your health status, care reminders, and clinical follow-up via phone, email, or the secure messaging platform. Opting out of messages is requested in writing, via the secure messaging platform, by email, or through the website form; if received through other means (such as a STOP reply or phone call), it is also honored and documented in writing.

"Physical distance dissolves when the virtual medical encounter is grounded in human presence, warmth, and clinical rigor."
State-Specific Requirements (LICENSED IN: DE · FL · OR · SC · WA)
In addition to federal telehealth standards, your care complies with statutory rules in each authorized state:
Universal Requirement (LICENSED IN: DE · FL · OR · SC · WA)
The patient must be physically located within one of the 5 authorized states during the exact time of the virtual medical visit.
Check specific rules by state:
Florida (Fla. Stat. §934.03)
All-party consent for recording: Florida law requires prior consent of all parties to record any audio or video conversation. At Oasis Mental Care, sessions are strictly confidential and are not recorded.
Oregon (Oregon State Board of Nursing)
Mandatory physical presence in Oregon during the virtual medical visit and strict adherence to clinical telepractice and medical ethics standards set by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Washington (RCW 9.73.030)
All-party recording consent: Under Washington law (RCW 9.73.030), recording any communication without explicit all-party consent is unlawful. At Oasis Mental Care, sessions are never recorded.
South Carolina (SC Board of Nursing)
Physical presence in South Carolina required during each virtual session along with compliance with telepsychiatry and clinical oversight standards of the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
Delaware (24 Del. C. §6003)
Delaware statutory standards: Under 24 Del. C. §6003, patient identity and physical location are verified at the start of each session; and the provider confirms her identity and professional credentials.
